I Live in the Stangest Place.

current song: Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots pt.1 - The Flaming Lips

Hard to breathe here.
I love the Boy.

What I did on my Birthday......

It was simple.
We didn't have money.

#4 at Home Slice.
They make the best pizza in austin.
ben said he could do that when we watched
the pizza-boy toss the pie.

Only, it drops on the floor when I do it....

I laughed hard.

Gregory....when we walked in I was wearing the shirt you sent me.

The gal behind the counter.......in MY Town???
She asked me where I got it.

Did
i
REALLY
get it in Thailand?????

She had gotten HERS there.

*smiles and smiles and smiles*

No ma'am, it was a gift.
My Friend sent it to me.
HE was in Thailand.

There's another girl in town who has one too.....
She, she had seen her, she just wanted to know.

My pizza was verrrrry very good.
My pizza place
is a place with stories.

And they know a good shirt when they see one.

We left the pizza place and walked down Congress......................
Lots of little antique stores.
The sewing machine shop is right next door--we looked through
the windows while the dogs barked at us.

I don't know what Ben was looking for......
In the shoppe we were poking around......

But I gasped.

I gasped loud--and he yanked it off the shelf.

THIS IS MINE, he said...........
and I grinned and grinned.

He held it close to his chest.

It was glass, and all the bits weren't there.......

Remember when we moved into the House?
I set the first box down, took out the glass rolling pin I had held onto
against all odds. Kept whole for a decade and a half, through many a hard
travelings?

Set it behind the box......
Took everything out of the box.....

Picked up the box to toss it--and heard that sound.
The sound of a glass rolling pin rolling off a counter and shattering.
The amazing woman who had given it to me....all the time and the........

SAT DOWN AND CRIED.

First night in the House.

Ben grabbed the one on the shelf, held it close to his chest, and laughed....
I laughed too.
It didn't have the screw cap on the end.........so it was only 5 bucks.

MY ROLLING PIN--I AM GOING TO MAKE BISCUITS!!! said ben.

That's not for biscuits, that's for puff pastry! So the butter doesn't melt!!!!
You put ice and water in it!!!!

I chased him through the antique store--------he bought a glass rolling pin.
The girl at the counter found him as infuriatingly charming as I.

He wouldn't let me hold it until we got in the truck.

The man who said he wasn't good at "Birthdays"
did a nasty fine job--of making this one good.

I love that Boy.

We are going to make it.

All our crazy and all our turmoil..............

He's just about perfect.

No one any less crazy would be right for me.
I want to grow old with him.

I want to kill him and sometimes I want to die................................

But yeah, I want to grow old with him.

I really do.
