Why am I still so sore???

July 10th, 2006 (06:37 pm)

I need to take better care of myself.
As I find myself abandoning the Tree House I haven't had the spirit to stock my kitchen,
I'm just not eating well--not really eating much at all really.

I can't wait to get into the new place, and start playing house...
Somehow I am better at taking care of myself when I am taking care of someone else.

Well, off to meet the Boy at Club Love--and then a quiet night back here.
I want it all to be finished, I want to walk the dog, and make dinner.
With dishes, on a table!

The Tree House has boxes in it now, and I'm about to start pealing things off the walls.

I need a rub, and a good nights sleep in his arms.

The hardest part of moving is the boxing and unboxing.

Personally, I hate it. Of course. that's we're looking for a house, so I can join in your moving misery.

It's all about sharing the load.

We are spread all over Town...
My Stuff, His Stuff in the storage unit, and His Stuff at Drew's up North!

But I think we'll be fine. I am amazed how many people have offered to help us,
lend us trucks...FILM THE EXPERIENCE!!!

Seriously, that whole sit-com joke about friends being unwilling to help you move
has been stomped--I'm dreading it all, yes, but just in small panic attacks. We are sharing
the load....with each other and our wonderful wonderful Friends.

We've both known all the same "Family" for over a decade...and they are all enthused by the
change we've made in each other. For the moment at least, we are a bit of a mascot, I think!

(oh i know, i know, GROSS isn't it!!!?)

lovers leap

If you want to make your life easier, and want to borrow Maxx so that you can slowly load things into him over a couple of days, and then drive him to the house and unload him at your leisure, you're more than welcome to him. You just have to pick up the keys before I leave for Santa Cruz on the 20th(I won't be back until you're already moved in).

Oh, that is so wonderful of you, Barry!
You just reinforced what I told Jaq, above...

But I think we have enough on the vehicle front...
Folks are being quite generous.

Can't wait for you to get back, I've been thinking my 36th Birthday on the 10th of September
would be a great time to have the "House Warming Party"--enough time to be a bit settled.

Thank-you, thank-you so much!
