Oprah D'oh!

January 12th, 2006 (06:08 am)

I'm sure most of you are already aware of this,
as it was brought to my attention on the evening "News"
but it just makes me happy...

The Smoking Gun:
A Million Little Lies
Exposing James Frey's Fiction Addiction

I read the entire article, and I nearly never do that...
heh.

Sad part?
Now I want to read his crappy book to see how crappy it is.

*laughing*

Poor Little Frat Boys, what tortured lives they live!

Read this wonderful 2003 review of the book.

And also read the same reviewer's review of Frey's second novel.

As well as his reply to those who sent him angry letters regarding those reviews.

Yeah, they're all talking about it up here, because he's from here somehow. The recovery center, Hazelden, that he allegedly went to is up here.

lenin

He conned Oprah! That's awesome. Sure, he may be an ass(I'd say that point is fairly self-evident), and he's probably about to get lawsuited back to the stone age, but if he conned Oprah in total public on her own show, that's a beautiful thing. Good job.

Now, I highly recommend that he finds a not-so-extradition-friendly country, and retires. Quickly. Or start writing more books. I'm sure either way would work, since people will buy his books simply because they're offended by them.
