Woke up this morning from a nightmare I guess...

Opened my eyes to this OVERWHELMING sense of my own mortality.
Still shaking a bit.

All the questions , the endless questions? The blind Fear.

Fortunately I had left the TV on...and Nick Jr was playing.
Small brightly coloured creatures were learning to share, and singing about it
while passing fruit around to each other.


Hey, what ever gets you through the day, right?

Ah well, time to put on pants and go to work.

Sorry, I wasn't there in the wee hours of the morning when you IM'ed me.

I was fast asleep. Left the ol' computer on. It's rough waking up at 5:30am every morning...I don't think I'll ever get used to it.

For some reason, although cheesy as it might be, a Bob Marley song came into my head, "My fear is my only courage, so I've got to push on through..."

Sometimes I sing that line to myself when I feel that fear has swallowed me whole.

Man fatally injured trying to stop Starbucks tip thief

CRESTWOOD, Mo. -- The Good Samaritan who tried to stop thieves from escaping with a tip jar from a suburban St. Louis Starbucks has died.

Fifty-four-year-old Roger Kreutz was struck two days ago by the getaway car outside the Crestwood Starbucks. The jar is believed to have contained a little over $5.

A $20,000 reward is offered for information leading to the thieves. Starbucks
