Before She Writes the Post Bitching about her LONG night...

March 25th, 2007 (03:12 am)

Here's something FUN!

zutroy came by last night for a visit, in Texas, in Austin for a little bit before
beginning his WORLD travels again....and I got him to take a picture of me in my

NEW PAJAMAS!!!

Now don't you go readin' anything into that--only see, my camera isn't working these
days.... ^_^

Annnnnnnnnnnother LJ Friend of mine MADE these for me.

Yup.

MADE them!!! How cool is that???

(ooh, wish I had thought about the SpiderGirl Icon in my pose, I almost got it! *hee*)

My PJ making LJ Friend is also a bit of a World Traveler himself, and as I understand it
he uses his breaks between gigs of the International sort...to take a class or two to learn
something he doesn't know about. How Renaissance of Him, yes? This time he took
a sewing class! I was the lucky Girl who got to reap what he....heh....sewed.

I LOVE MY SPIDERMAN PAJAMAS!!!
I can run faster and leap higher in them--I can sense danger, and avoid bed bugs!!!

If he wants to fess up, he can--I simply HAD to post this public.
I am verrrrrrrrrrrrry PJ PROUD.

Boy Of Steel

He found the fabric in a store, and knew what he needed to do with it.

"Useless but completely delightful"
Ginger & Shake!

Wow.

I saw that during my BADGE DAYS of SXSW....
I almost want to say I was sitting next to Keith.

Maybe not.
Much of that time is a blurr, I remember that short
VIVIDLY though, it was one of my favourites.

Seriously, I think I talked with the guy.

But when you wake up at 8 after crashing at 4, for 9 days
in a row???
You forget.

That is why I write things down.
I'll plow through the old badge days and see if I can
find it.

It was, truly, one of my favourites. I know I saw it at Alamo
CENTRAL. And that I was tired.

Pinky

Yes!

Animation, shorts, yes....
Maybe it was a colleague--but yeah,
I chatted for some time with someone who worked on that!

I loved it.

I AM THE CAT!
brotha man

I die every time I see that Master Shake picture. If I see some Master Shake fabric, another pair of pajamas is yours!

The Raftman short was interesting. I just didn't want to say "good." I liked it and I think it accurately describes how intrigued one can be for a story or a character or a work. It can still be applicable to our adult lives (even though we forget the magic sometimes,) but it especially remains true in youth.

Thus, youth should be eternal. If not physical youth, then spiritual and mental youth!

Spidey Sense

*I smack you on the head.

annnnnnnnyhoo.

*Jumps around in her Spidey Jammies*

The raftman is about EVERY comic geek.

And every philosopher.

*pffft*

We study, the gull.

Scooby

*deflecting smack with gentle, yet skillful martial prowess*

I meant that "good" was just too plain a word. I found it pleasantly intriguing. I especially loved their revelation at the end. I loved the idea of a comic in which nothing happened for pages and pages and that a gull flying in a frame was a great event. If only something like that could work . . . .

For me it didn't have to be about any specific genre of geek or medium. That was just what was presented. I think another example of what was set forth in the short is how much I liked Gigolo Joe or how I really connected more with the ending under the ferris wheel than with David being thawed out in the future.

From a certain point of view . . . .
