Marshall, Lovejoy's Bartender?

Said there was a new issue of THE OUTSIDERS.

He'd ordered it off netflix, and was looking forward to seeing it when he
got home from work.

Cuz we're the Greasers......and those Frats on 6th are the Soc's! Right??!

Picked up a copy from Vulcan on the ride home.
Watching it now.

Well sheesh, he couldn't have been that good if he called it a butterfly knife. Now if he had called it a balisong (as they do in filipino kali,) then he must have been able to do some shit.

I've never read the book, never have seen the movie. The inclination hasn't been there, either, so you're about five up on me on this one. There are a lot of "standards" in American public school education that I didn't read because in high school, English tracks were elective; I took English, but not the standard American lit classes. I only read The Jungle this fall.

Now the Buckminster Fuller bio that I read in Thailand, that was literature!
