Red Lipstick & Green Ink [userpic]

i found the most beautiful words....while looking for a picture.

I wanted an Icon, with a book.
I found this one.

I also found This.

Google translated for me.
The clumsy translation makes it read like scattered poetry.

I left a comment in English...saying I had borrowed the image...
but would link the blog and credit it with the picture I had used as an Icon.

Am still reading...
Sad, it seems this person hasn't written more
in a very long time?

Wish so much that I read Italian.
I know the translation only does the ideas a small justice...
And such beautiful ideas--sussed from scattered badly translated collections of words.

I love words.
I need to learn more of them.

I find that I feel that I don't speak enough languages. Likewise, I fear there's not enough time to learn all the languages that intrigue me.

Or do I need more languages than English in which to feel that I am not doing justice to ideas?

Bear

You seem down on yourself of late.
I have started whole posts in response to your writing...
and erased them.

You guise it all in an odd Vanity.

I never want to say the wrong thing--
though I often want to shake you.

skeleshock!

I am interested to hear what you say, Storm Bear. I find that as much as I hope to advance beyond such feelings that I manifest, they are still there. Know that at the very least, I do not do it to fish for compliments or sympathy. It's mostly ranting and raging against the simple fact that I do not feel that I am the person I desire most to be. I do often think I am off my rocker for thinking such ill thoughts and for possessing such staunch and extreme expectations of myself and my abilities, and wish I could just be easier going about it, like so many others appear to be. I may possibly eb doing better than I could hope, but I do not see it, so in that respect it does not exist for me. I am not always requiring of visible evidence to believe in something, but when it involves myself, I seem to require evidence in triplicate.

"Storm-Bear" was just thinking about Fish...

We are ALL fishing, Gregory, my Clever Clown.

And some fish like to bite even though they see the line.

this Italian blogger

His Italian reads just like you might imagine. His name on his profile translates to Francesco Whogivesadamn. I do love the machine translated version. Often my highschool students try to pass off internet translations as their own writing. It's soooo obvious. There's one in every 9th grade class.
